I'm from NJ originally which has the best NY-style pizza (obviously). This place is the closest I can find to home in the area. It's good at the place, at home, and cold the next day. Their other food is good as well. Particularly, their wings are great. I really like the Gus' blend sauce. Specials are good. Decor isn't very NY, but it reminds me of it! Excellent place.
Great lil restaurant in the Kroger Shopping Center. Been here three times and the food has been consistently good every time. This time around, husband had a cheesesteak and fries. I had a chef salad, and we topped it off with cannoli. Yummy Highly recommend this restaurant.
I just found this place ..... the pizza is very good . The people are nice and it's always ready when I go to pick it up .
Good food at a fair price with outstanding friendly customer service! You can't ask for more! We ordered a meat lovers stromboli, meat lovers calzone, and a medium feta and pepperoni pizza. The food was delicious and they didn't skimp on the ingredients or serving size. Everyone has enough left over for another meal. Overall, an enjoyable experience that was worth the money! We were headed to a movie, needed to kill time and decided to stop by... I am glad we did!! The lunch menu was phenomenal, we each chose a mini pizza and a drink, for 6.99 per person! They also have a lunch special rewards program... Back to the food: It was some of the best New York pizza I’ve had since NY itself, perfectly crispy, nummy flavors and it was NOT burnt! The service was great, there were not many customers while we were there but it’s nice to know they don’t slack when it’s slow. Only slight complaint was the music was a little annoying for my mom, but I tuned it out, and we did not ask for them to turn it down. They had football on but it was muted with subtitles (football is a plus for me). The store was clean with no weird smells, just pizza!
We ordered a large pepperoni, medium cheese, and garlic bread knots. The food was hot, fresh, and good. The staff was super friendly, and they weren't packed, and food came in about 15-20 minutes. They have a kids menu as well. I recommend trying this place if you're looking for a pizza place nearby.
We ordered pizza, chicken parm, and calzone... all of it was excellent! Service was quick and courteous. Cool spot to hit before the movies!
This is my favorite pizza place in the Hampton Roads area. Service is always great and the food is even better.
